Pavlina Tcherneva

 
Pavlina R. Tcherneva, Assistant Professor of Economics at Bard College, specializes in the fields of modern monetary theory, fiscal policy, macroeconomic stabilization, and the economics of gender. She has previously taught at Franklin and Marshall College and the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and has conducted research at the University of Cambridge Centre for Economic and Public Policy, UK; the Levy Economics Institute, NY; and the Center for Full Employment and Price Stability, MO. She received her Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and two B.A. degrees with honors in Economics and Mathematics from Gettysburg College, Pennsylvania
